ARRRIBAAA! Ay ay ay - Del Castillo

Rick and Mark Castillo are hands down the most talented guitar players I have ever seen! I first saw them on PBS while sitting in my room in Hardin House - my friends and I were in such awe that we decided to drive to where they were playing and unfortunately missed out on the free concert. We were able to locate their next show, a small Cinco De Mayo festival located in East Austin. We dressed all-out, wearing Mexican flag skirts, dancing the night away holding a beer in one hand and a turkey leg in the other.

The next year they were on the list for ACL! They've come a long way since that small festival - I would compare them to having the entertainment value of the Gypsy Kings. Fun and lively, you can't sit still!

This Thursday, go see them for yourself at Antones on 5th!

Cheers,
Claire
