Crisp Texas weather calls for the addition of a jacket or scarf, and nothing looks more chic than effortless layering. Here are a few examples of how you can achieve your layered look this Fall!
Starting off with the most simple ones and gradually getting more complicated-
Easy- Jeans and a cute, fun sheer spotted top underneath a charcoal knit blazer, topped with a jersey scarf. This look takes you from the office on casual Friday to happy hour.
Top- Hype
Blazer- BCBGeneration
Scarf- Fluxus
Easy- You can rock this look in 80 + temps- no temperature dip necessary. A menswear inspired silk vest tames a rocker-girl tank when paired with denim. At night, throw the above knit blazer over it for an even more chic look.
Silk vest- Line and Dot
Silk studded tank- Aryn K
Necklace- Let it Be Designs
Moderate- Throwing a blazer over a party dress may be a no brainer for most, but mixing patterns requires a bit more chutzpah. This Chanel inspired blazer adds uptown polish to any look, while the jersey scarf adds some downtown cool.
Blazer- BCBGeneration
Dress- BCBGeneration
Scarf- Fluxus
Moderate- Try a military inspired trench dress over jeans for a head turning ensemble. Is it a coat? Is it a dress? It's whatever you want it to be! Add a pop of color with a red burnout tank, and layer bold silver jewelry on top to finish the look. A thin, studded vintage inspired belt brings it all together.
Trench dress- Aryn K
Tank- Lucca Couture
Necklace- Shawlsmith London
Belt- Archangelo
Most Difficult- Don't be fooled- this look is super easy, but looks tricky. Start with your favorite pencil skirt, then add this white BB Dakota tunic, throw on the black jersey vest, and top it off with the tweed blazer. The studded belt from above holds it all perfectly in place. Edgy pearls remind you that you're a Southern gal with some serious style!
Charcoal Wool Skirt- actually the bottom half of a dress- Hype
3/4 Sleeve Tunic- BB Dakota
Jersey Vest- Fluxus
Blazer- BCBGeneration
Necklace- K Clair
Belt- Archangelo
